Technical Report 1

Technical Report 1 evaluates the current structural systems and existing conditions of the Embassy Suites Hotel. Gravity and lateral load checks were performed to verify capacity of structural members.

Technical Report 2

Technical Report 2 examines the existing floor system and delves in 3 alternative floor designs that couldpossibly serve as alternate system that could be in place in the Embassy Suites Hotel project.

The 3 floor systems studied are as follows :

  • One Way Slab System with Reinforced Concrete Beams

  • Composite Floor Stystem on Steel Framing

  • Pre- Cast Hollow - Core Planks on Steel Framing

Technical Report 3

Technical Report 3 is a study that examines the lateral force resisting system of the Embassy Suites Hotel. This report looks at the response and behavior of the structure to wind and seismic loads calculated in Technical Report 1.
